Creating Space

At the beginning of each session, Kiki employs a technique called “Traction” which involves applying a gentle pulling force to the joints. This technique in highly beneficial as it creates more space within the joints and helps increase the joint mobility while simultaneously reducing joint compression.

By performing this unique technique, it gives Kiki the ability to help promote relaxation in the client by stimulating the release of
endorphins. The Stretching component of this technique adds to the overall effectiveness of the session, leaving the client feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

The Stick

To optimize the benefits of your stretch sessions, self-myofascial release (SMR) is a critical step that should never be neglected. Kiki understands the importance of this and uses a fascia muscle roller called “the stick” to roll out specific areas with greater control and finesse.

Performing SMR enhances blood flow, activates nerve stimulation, relieves tension, reduces inflammation, and enhances fascia hydration, all of which are essential to continue optimal mobility.

Dynamic + PNF methods = a match made in mobility heaven.

A body in motion stays in motion, therefore why engage in static stretch. The Dynamic method is a unique style of stretching that actively executes controlled movements across the entire range of motion. This technique increases blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles, resulting in improved mobility and flexibility while drastically reducing chances of injury.


The PNF Method – Proprioceptive Neuromuscular facilitation

PNF is utilized to establish your maximum range of motion. Within this technique there are several variations that can be used, such as the hold-relax, contract-relax-contract or our personal favorite contract-relax.
